A common farm scene from rural Pennsylvania. An old red barn that stood near Williamsport, PA - weathering the storm. This barn was torn down a few years after this photo was taken. Many old barns are disappearing from the landscape.

They use the old wood from barns and buildings like this, after it is planed down, for very expensive flooring etc...

Yes! We had a very old barn on our property. It was too bad to save. But a lot of the yellow pine wood was reclaimed and planed and used in a ski lodge in Colorado.
