A pretty pair of Christmas Cardinals perched on a snowy pine branch. A vibrant red male Cardinal and a buff brown female cardinal are a perfect pair for a Christmas greeting.
Cardinals very popular backyard birds. They are also known as a songbird and sing a variety of melodies. The male is more noticeable with its vivid red color, and can be aggressive defending territory. Their red color means they’ve become a symbol of passion and love. Some believe that the deceased send a cardinal as a messenger to loved ones.
