A foggy morning at Bar Harbor, Maine, with the sunlight peeking through the heavy fog. Thick fog can roll in off of the Atlantic Ocean, and stay around for hours along the coast. Bar Harbor is a town on Mount Desert Island along Maine’s Frenchman Bay. It serves as a gateway to the mountains and cliffs of neighboring Acadia National Park.
