The Star Barn, visible from Route 283 in Lower Swatara Township, was built in 1872. It is the last of 15 Gothic Revival barns built in the Harrisburg area and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Since this picture was taken, the barn was dismantled and moved to Elizabethtown, PA.
Lori is a published photographer from central Pennsylvania. Country landscapes, farmhouse decor and wildlife are what Lori loves most. Lori creates a blend of painted photographs that are realistic renditions of country living, filled with perspective and peace, capturing farmyards, barns and animals meandering across the frame. Viewers breathe in the nostalgia that Lori creates in her prints. Through photography, Lori has developed a greater appreciation for all of the little things in life that she loves to capture and share with the world.
