The Second Bank of the United States - located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The Second Bank was the second federally authorized national bank in the United States during a twenty year period from 1816 to 1836. The second bank handled all fiscal transactions for the United States government.
The building, designed with Greek Revival architecture, is a historic landmark and is part of Independence National Historical Park in Philadelphia. Today is serves as an art gallery.
