Tibbetts Point Lighthouse is on the coast of Lake Ontario where it meets the St. Lawrence River in Northern New York State, in the area of the scenic Thousand Islands. Built in 1827, the Lighthouse features the only original working Fresnel lens in Lake Ontario.
The Thousand Islands are a group of more than 1,800 islands in the St. Lawrence River, straddling the border of the United States and Canada. A fashionable retreat for the elite in the late 19th century, today the area is a hub for outdoor activities including boating, fishing and sightseeing. It’s home to elaborate island mansions such as the German-style Boldt Castle on Heart Island, and Singer Castle on Dark Island.
Lori is a published photographer from central Pennsylvania. Country landscapes, farmhouse decor and wildlife are what Lori loves most. Lori creates a blend of painted photographs that are realistic renditions of country living, filled with perspective and peace, capturing farmyards, barns and animals meandering across the frame. Viewers breathe in the nostalgia that Lori creates in her prints. Through photography, Lori has developed a greater appreciation for all of the little things in life that she loves to capture and share with the world.
